Founded in 1978, 1st Place Sports opened its doors in Jacksonville, Florida as a Specialty running store. Although 1st Place Sports remains devoted to the running industry, the founders daughter (Danielle Olson) was devoted to volleyball, and in 1998, 20 years after opening their doors, 1st Place Team Sales was born, devoted to the sport of Volleyball.

Danielle Olson, President, was born and raised in the athletic industry. After spending much of her professional career with the family business she was recruited by Asics Tiger as a Team Representative to head up the South Eastern Division. It was during this time, that Danielle realized the need to support volleyball in the field, and has since formed the Largest Volleyball Team Dealership in the country.

1st Place Team's primary focus is volleyball with Volleyball exclusive representatives throughout the country, ready to cater to your needs. Most of our representatives are Volleyball coaches themselves. This guarantees, when it comes to volleyball, they know it. In addition they know what you're looking for and what you expect.
